New Nokia Astound is also known as Nokia C7. It runs with Symbian 3.1 OS and CPU 680 MHz ARM 11 processor, Broadcom BCM2727 GPU. The cell phone has 3.5 AMOLED capacitive touchscreen with Proximity sensor for auto turn-off, Multi-touch input method, Accelerometer sensor for UI auto-rotate, Scratch resistant Gorilla glass display and 16M colors. Nokia Astound has 8 Mega Pixel Camera which is capable to capture 720p HD Video with Geo-tagging, face detection features and also has VGA camera on front side for video calling which gives you good experience of photography and videography. The handset is inbuilt with lots of creative features like Bluetooth, 3.5mm jack, Wi-Fi, GPS, Ovi Maps 3.0, HTML Web Browser, RSS feeds, Loudspeaker, SMS, MMS, Email, Push Email, IM, Stereo FM radio, FM transmitter, Web TV, TV-out, DivX/XviD/MP4/H.264/H.263/WMV player, Quickoffice document viewer (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, PDF), Adobe Reader and more features. The device has huge storage space 350 MB internal memory, 8 GB storage internal and with the help of microSD card slot it can be upgrade up to 32 GB. Nokia Astound has 1200 MAH (BL-5K) Standard battery which is capable to give more than 9.3 hours of talktime in 2G network, 5 hours in 3G network and up to 555 hours of standby time in 2G, 656 hours in 3G network. The handset will available from 1st week of April and cost will be approximately $80 and it will be available in Frosty metal color.
